Grasshopper Practice
My first attempt to follow a tutorial for Grasshopper. I used this video: http://designalyze.com/tutorial/fun-graph-mapper made by Zach Downey to create a vase using the Graph Mapper component. I was unable to make all of the graphs/other components work properly resulting in the more cone shaped structure. However, I am able to change the number of lofted curves, height, and make small tweaks to the form.
In the second practice, I explored the Shift Data function that can offset points or other data by a specified interval. The example I followed was created by David Rutten and is shown on pages 46-47 in the Grasshopper Primer at:

To start, two circles were created, divided into points, and connected with lines.
Using the Shift List component, the points in the top circle can be shifted from the normal position. Here, the points are shifted 2 spaces.
Here, the points are shifted 10 spaces.
